Checkout branding
Applies to: TreStack Checkout, Pro on Shopify Plus
Updated: 17 October 2026
Change the colors, fonts, corner radius and section styles of your checkout. Needs the Pro plan on a store on Shopify Plus.
The app saves these settings through Shopify's checkout branding settings, so they apply to the whole checkout, not only to the app's blocks.
Open it
- Open App blocks. Under For every page, choose Checkout branding.
- If the page shows Additional permissions needed, choose Grant permissions and approve them in Shopify. Branding needs permission to read and edit your checkout configuration and to read your files.
Edit a profile
- In Checkout profile, pick the checkout profile to edit. (Published) marks the one buyers see; changes you save to it go live at once.
- In Section, pick what to change:
- Colors, Corner radius, Typography, Heading levels, Global
- Header & Footer, Main & Order summary, Product Image
- Inputs & Buttons, Content & Divider, Express checkout, Bread crumbs
- Change the settings. The Preview beside the form follows your changes before you save.
- Choose Save. Save or discard your changes before you move to another section or profile.
- View checkout opens your checkout to check the real result.
Reset to defaults puts every branding setting of the selected profile back to Shopify's defaults. You cannot undo this.
Fonts
In the Typography section, pick a Primary font source and a Secondary font source:
- Shopify font library: fonts Shopify provides. Families Shopify has marked as deprecated are not offered.
- Custom font (from my files): upload
.woffor.woff2files in your Shopify admin under Content > Files first. Pick both a base and a bold file.
The primary font is used for text and buttons, the secondary for headings.
Rules: payment, shipping, validation and cart links
Hide, rename or reorder payment and shipping methods, stop checkout with order validation, and build cart links. Rules run as Shopify Functions.
Translations
Your blocks' texts in each language your checkout uses, instances, and the texts translated elsewhere.
