Review ratings from Judge.me and Okendo

Showing each offered product's star rating and review count in upsell cards, read from the ratings your reviews app saves to Shopify.

Applies to: TreStack Checkout, Pro on Shopify Plus
Updated: 17 October 2026

Upsell cards in checkout can show each offered product's star rating and review count. They come from your reviews app: Judge.me and Okendo save each product's rating to Shopify, in Shopify's standard product rating fields, and TreStack Checkout reads it from there. There is no account to connect and no API key to enter. Ratings in checkout need the Pro plan on a store on Shopify Plus.

In your reviews app

Nothing to set up:

  • Judge.me saves ratings to Shopify a few minutes after each review.
  • Okendo saves ratings to Shopify about a minute after a review is published.

Turn the app on

  1. Open Integrations in the app's menu.
  2. Under Review apps, find your app's card and turn on its switch (Show Judge.me ratings or Show Okendo ratings). Ratings show only for an app that is on.
  3. Under Product ratings, Products with ratings shows how many of your products have a rating so far.

Without the Pro plan on Shopify Plus, the page shows Pro plan required. You can still turn an app off.

Show ratings in checkout

  1. On the Upsells page, open More actions > Advanced settings and edit a profile.
  2. In the Reviews group, pick the app you turned on as the Provider.
  3. Under Review display, choose Stars only or Stars & review count. Products without reviews show empty stars.
  4. Save the profile.

With Judge.me, you can set Review data source to Store total to show your store's overall rating instead of each product's.

Ratings load only in profiles set up in the app, not with Use Editor Settings in the checkout editor.
