Rules, branding and translations

Translations

Your blocks' texts in each language your checkout uses, instances, and the texts translated elsewhere.

Applies to: TreStack Checkout, every plan
Updated: 17 October 2026

Your blocks' texts can be shown in each language your checkout uses. The buyer sees the text for their checkout language.

Extension translations

Open App blocks > Translations (under For every page), Settings > Extension translations > Open extension translations, or Translations in a block's editor. The page is Extension Translations.

  1. Under Available Languages, choose Add Language and pick a language.
  2. Open a component (for example Banner Component or Upsell Component) and type the text for each field. Default is the text used when no translation exists.
  3. Choose Save Changes.

Language matching: for a regional language such as fr-CA, the app uses fr-CA first, then fr, then the default text.

Translations override the text typed in the block's settings in the checkout editor.

Instances

Some components can hold several instances, each with its own texts, for example a "Main Banner" and a "Promotional Banner". Choose Add with the component's name (for example Add Banner) to create one.

Match a block profile to an instance with the profile's instance setting (for example Banner Instance, or Translation instance on other blocks). Gifts pick their instance in Translation instance too.

Other texts

  • Surveys: translate questions, options and messages in the survey editor under Translations. See Surveys and forms.
  • Payment, shipping and validation rules: use Show Translations (Optional) in the rule. See Rules.
  • Product names come from Shopify. Translate them in Shopify.

Delete All Translations removes every translation for every block. You cannot undo this.
