Read a timer's analytics

What impressions, clicks, click through rate, dismissals and completions count for each timer, how to pick a date range, and where the 30 day summary on Home comes from.

At a glance
  • Per timer: Impressions, clicks, click through rate, dismissals, completions
  • Filter: Any date range
  • Home: The last 30 days, across timers

Every timer has its own analytics, filtered by date range. The app Home also shows the last 30 days of impressions, clicks and click through rate.

Set it up

  1. Open TreStack Timer. On Home, read the last 30 days of impressions, clicks and click through rate.
  2. For one timer, open it from the timer list and go to its analytics.
  3. Pick the date range you want to look at, such as the days a sale ran.

Read the result

  • Impressions are views: one timer seen by one visitor in a browser session. Reloads and other pages in the same session do not count again; a new session does.
  • Clicks count shoppers using the timer's button or clickable bar, which landing timers and bars can carry.
  • Click through rate is clicks as a share of impressions.
  • Dismissals count shoppers closing a bar.
  • Completions count timers reaching zero, once per visit.

Good to know

  • No view limit. Views are counted for analytics only, and there is no limit on them.
  • Blocked storage counts more. If a shopper's browser blocks storage, each page load counts as a view.
  • No shopper data. Each count is a timer ID, a timer type, your store and the kind of event, with nothing that identifies the shopper. Daily counts are kept for 400 days.
  • Email opens are not views. An email timer's opens are not counted as views.
