Move the widget or show it in another section
Applies to: TreStack Bundles, every plan
Updated: 5 November 2026
- Automatic spot: Just above the theme's Add to cart button
- Custom spot: The Bundle deal app block
- Needs: A section that accepts app blocks
With the Bundle deals app embed on, the widget places itself above the Add to cart button on every product page that has a deal. To put it somewhere else, or to show a product's deal on another page, add the app block Bundle deal.
Set it up
- Check that the app embed is on: in the theme editor, under App embeds, Bundle deals is switched on. On the app Home, Activate app embed opens the theme editor with it on; choose Save there.
- In the theme editor, open your product page and, in the section where the deal should go, add the app block Bundle deal. Any section that accepts app blocks works, as Online Store 2.0 theme sections do.
- Leave the block's Product setting on its default, the product of the page.
- To show a deal on another page, such as the home page, add a Bundle deal block to a section there that accepts app blocks, and set Product to the product whose deal it should show.
- Leave Deal ID empty unless we gave you one. The admin does not show deal ids yet.
- Choose Save in the theme editor.
Check it on your store
Open a product page with a deal: the widget sits where you put the block, and only once. Pick a bar and add it to the cart. Then open the page with the other block and check that it shows the deal of the product you set.
Good to know
- Automatic placement steps aside. Once a Bundle deal block for the page's product is on the page, the widget no longer places itself there, so you never get two. Blocks for other products do not count.
- Blocks belong to the theme. A new theme starts without them: note where each block sits and its Product and Deal ID, and place them again.
- Page builders: the widget recognises the Add to cart buttons of two page builders' product pages (write to us to ask which). That is not verified on a live store yet.
- Vintage themes have no sections for app blocks and are not tested. The widget is never placed in a quick view window or a cart drawer.
Which themes the widget knows, and the rest of the placement rules, are in Theme compatibility and placement.
Match deals to your store's colors and fonts
Set your brand colors once and link every deal to them, start new deals in the Brand color, and choose your theme's fonts and text sizes in Style.
Combine a deal with discount codes
Let shoppers use a Shopify discount code on top of a deal: the one setting to check on the code, how to test it at checkout, and what happens when two discounts reach the same item.
